| Board-Certified Veterinary Oncologists: Josephine McKnight, DVM Diplomate American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology) Dr. McKnight received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph and Doctor of Veterinary of Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College. She completed a rigorous internship in small animal medicine and surgery at The Animal Medical Center in New York and then spent three years in clinical practice in Toronto, Canada. Dr. McKnight completed a two year residency in medical oncology in The Animal Medical Center and became board certified in 2000. M.J. Hamilton, DVM Dr. Hamilton attended Colorado State University where he received a bachelors in psychology and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Following veterinary school he moved to Las Vegas where he spent two years in general practice, particularly interested oncology, behavior and theriogenology. Dr. Hamilton went on to complete a residency in medical oncology at Michigan State University Center for Comparative Oncology. |
